Block Jock Sharock!

Does anyone else think of the Bugs Bunny character "Black Jacques Chirac" when they hear outgoing French president Jacques Chirac's name?

It was pronounced with an extreme French accent, loudly and with much emphasis. "BLOCK! JOCK! SHAROCK!" or possibly, "SHELLAC!" He was a bad guy.

I remember this specifically from an episode where the cartoons were playing blackjack in the old west.

Bugs Bunny is my favorite cartoon series, although Bugs himself isn't my favorite. I'm not sure who is. Pete doesn't like it. He likes Tom & Jerry. Weird.

I have a little crush on Bugs Bunny. Also, I think that Dave Chapelle would make a top notch Bugs Bunny, in a Bugs Bunny movie where Bugs Bunny is a man.

Bugs Bunny's insouciance is sexy.

I remember that one, Blade. But I'm with Pete, the old school T&J without the talking are great. But best of all time? Hmmm, I'd have to go with Ren & Stimpy. Jooooy!

Bugs is best. I never got into Tom & Jerry. I was just singing a little tune yesterday and I told the girls it was from a Yosemite Sam cartoon. Remember the one where he is going to climb the Klondike? And he keeps falling back down. There is this little band in a bandshell at the bottom playing a little tune. And they play it everytime he falls to the bottom. That's the one I was singing.

My favorite is Scooby Doo. I like that they always had a scary mystery to solve.

when i was a kid, i absolutely hated the looney tunes. all of them. without exception.
it is probably my first real prejudice.
they still bother me. in fact, i am not enjoying thinking about them right now.
