Boom box
Or, as my mom calls it, jam box.
I bought an adapter so I could listen to my MP3 player in my car. The kind that plugs into your tape player. Well then one day it got stuck in there and now, the CD player works, but the radio does not, and of course the tape player does not because the stupid adapter is stuck in it.
It's been this way for a long time. At least since October, because I remember seeking advice from a fatherly fellow at my old job. He suggested I go to car toys or whatever and get a new radio for about $100. Good advice eh? but instead I put a boom box on the passenger seat so I can listen to the radio. It's really depressing, yet I just can't get off my bootie to buy a new radio. It's really staticky and if someone wants a ride I have to move it to the back seat.
If I told you how crabby I am today, you would never believe me. Sometimes I blog to get myself out of my Crabby Sam mode so I can get back to doing my job. Also I am eating some mulligatawny soup (sp) from Whole Foods in hopes of some cheer. I'm not sure yet if either thing is working.
Last week my dad celebrated his 69th birthday by cross-country skiing. I can't believe he's going to be 70 soon. My dad is awesome. So is my mom. Like how she says "jam box" and smiles as if she's in on the streety lingo but she also feels silly.

I am crabby today, too. I have the worst sinus headache ever that will not go away with tylenol or advil. I even tried overlapping the dosages. On top of that my children didn't have school today and all they did was fight with each other. Then my youngest said she wanted to kill me. Nice, huh?
So, I'd take a staticy jam box over a mouthy kid any day. I'm just saying.
Crabbaliciously Yours,
Momster
P.S. I love our Mom & Dad, too. They are coming to visit us next week.
too much doobie last night --> headache today...?
Not enough!
I know the problem. Mulligatawny Phil saw his shadow and that means we have a few more weeks of crabby.
You didn't tell how the jam box is wrapped in a huge blue sheet so it's totally unruly!
Nice! I had a boom box on the front seat of my first car. It was a 1983 AMC Eagle Hatchback just like this one, but mine was a puke-a-licious tan/brown two tone. :)
