Hello

I really have nothing exciting to say, which is why I haven't blogged for so long. I am still pregnant, due Nov. 26. I took this week off work, so these days I am either hanging out at home or driving around the town doing errands, which is much more fun in the middle of the day without traffic. And it feels really luxurious.

I'm glad I'm not working because my body is feeling uncomfortable, and it's hard to concentrate. Other than the general discomfort from having a huge belly, my only other issue is that my hips get really sore while I'm sleeping. So I wake up a lot to flip sides. And flipping sides is kind of hard with the huge belly! But luckily I fall right back asleep after I switch.

I am not impatient for the baby to arrive, yet. I would be okay if she/he showed up now, but I am also fine with waiting until the due date, because I'm having a nice time relaxing here at home. Also my parents are coming on Monday and if possible I'd like the baby to wait until they are here.

I will keep you posted on the baby front. In the meantime, here are some questions I have for all of you:

1. What is the deal with Ciscoe on King 5? Is he from a different land or region?
2. Has anyone ever been to Bahama Breeze? Pete and I always laugh at it when we see it but to be honest there's a part of me that wants to go there -- even though I don't think I even like Caribbean food.

1. I envy you your time off, even though I don't envy the reason.

2. What an inconsiderate baby, picking the day before Thanksgiving to tentatively arrive.

3. Speaking of Thanksgiving, you can't eat in the stereotypically Thanksgiving Day manner, because you arrive pretty much full.

4. I really like Bahama Breeze. They have a good selection, although calling it Caribbean food is like calling Outback Australian food.

Ciscoe is weird but very knowledgable. We actually saw him on Bourbon St in New Orleans on Halloween in 2004. We screamed "Hey Ciscoe!" He was dressed as an insane gardner from the Northwest.
